What to Expect...
what is the treatment like?
a topical numbing cream will be applied before treatment. with proper numbing, most patients describe this treatment as feeling like a deep exfoliation paired with an intense vibration or tickle.
for the first 4 hours following treatment we advise patients to only apply the serum provided. after the first 4 hours, normal skincare routine may be resumed with the exception of retinol and exfoliants (please wait 1 week).
an intensely hydrating skinpen biocellulose mask Is included post skinpen to hydrate and soothe irritation for optimal healing.
how often do I need to come in?
for optimal results we recommend patients do a series of 3 treatment spaced 4-6 weeks apart.

what is the downtime?
skin may be pink/red and irritated. this typically calms down by the next day, you may look like you have a mild sunburn for the first 24-48 hrs following treatment. mild flaking is also common on days 3-4.
