how does it work?
Moxi is a gentle, non-ablative fractional laser that treats skin by creating microscopic, controlled damage in the upper layers, which triggers the body's natural healing response and boosts collagen production. It uses a 1927 nm wavelength to target water in cells, effectively reducing pigmentation, sun damage, and signs of aging while leaving surrounding tissue unharmed
Optimal Series: 3–4 sessions is the standard recommendation for best results.
Frequency: Treatments are spaced 4–6 weeks apart to allow for healing.
Maintenance: To maintain results, 1–3 maintenance treatments per year are generally recommended.

how many sessions are needed?
Downtime & Recovery
Moxi laser treatments offer minimal downtime, typically lasting 3 to 7 days, with most people returning to normal activities in 1 to 2 days. Expect 2–8 hours of immediate redness and warmth, followed by a sandpaper-like texture and "MENDS" (tiny dark spots) that flake off by days 5–7.
most clients find moxi to be tolerable. however, we also offer the following pain management options:
numbing cream: a topical cream that consists of lidocaine, tetracaine and benzocaine. designed to dull sensation. lasts 1-2 hours after removal. included with all laser procedures.
PRONOX nitrous oxide: also known as "laughing gas". nitrous oxide is self-administered by holding a tube to your mouth to inhale the gas. The effects are typically felt within just a few breaths. while nitrous will not eliminate pain entirely, it will significantly dull the sensation of pain and anxiety. nitrous oxide is available for $125.

- those on accutane (must be off for 1 year)
- antibiotics and steroids (off for 7 days prior and 7 days post)
