Micro & Nano

laser peels

A Sciton LaserPeel is a resurfacing treatment  that precisely removes a thin layer of skin using a specialized laser. It uses advanced erbium laser technology to “peel” away the top layer of skin with controlled precision, improving texture, tone, and clarity. It’s often called the “weekend peel” because it delivers results with minimal downtime compared to more aggressive resurfacing procedures.

treats:
mild sun damage and pigmentation
fine lines
dull skin tone

how does it work?

The Sciton LaserPeel uses an erbium laser to remove a very fine layer of the outer skin (the epidermis) with precise control. As the skin heals, new cells form, leading to a smoother, fresher appearance. Collagen production increases over time, further improving skin elasticity and tone.

nano vs micro laser peel

Depth: NanoLaserPeel operates at roughly 5–10 microns, whereas MicroLaserPeel goes deeper, typically 20–50 microns.

Targeted Concerns: NLP is ideal for mild sun damage, fine lines, and brightening. MLP treats deeper wrinkles, acne scars,, and significant pigment issues.

Downtime & Recovery: a nanolaserpeel involves 1–2 days of mild flaking. microlaserpeel requires 3–5 days with more noticeable peeling, with redness and swelling similar to a sunburn.

Procedure Intensity: Both are quick and use a topical anesthetic to manage discomfort, but a microlaserpeel is a more intense, yet still superficial, epidermal peel.

Most patients see noticeable results after one session, but a series of 2 to 4 treatments spaced several weeks apart can maximize improvement.

how many sessions are needed?

When will i see results?

Most people see improvement once the skin heals, typically within 5 to 7 days. Skin texture and tone continue to improve as collagen regenerates.

numbing cream: a topical cream that consists of lidocaine, tetracaine and benzocaine. designed to dull sensation. lasts 1-2 hours after removal. included with all laser procedures.

PRONOX nitrous oxide: also known as "laughing gas". nitrous oxide is self-administered by holding a tube to your mouth to inhale the gas. The effects are typically felt within just a few breaths. while nitrous will not eliminate pain entirely, it will significantly dull the sensation of pain and anxiety. nitrous oxide is available for $125.

to ensure the PRONOX MACHINE is available, please let us know ahead of time if you would like nitrous oxide.
