bbl heroic vs traditional bbl

BBL HEROic™: This advanced platform uses smart filters and cutting-edge pulse control to deliver significantly higher energy with exceptional safety. This allows for deeper dermal penetration and more effective targeting of stubborn pigmentation, vascular lesions, and other complex skin concerns. The energy delivery is also more uniform, ensuring consistent results with fewer risks of hot spots or uneven treatment.

Traditional BBL: While still an excellent technology, classic BBL® offers more generalized settings. It uses adjustable filters and wavelengths to target superficial skin concerns like sunspots and redness. It’s versatile and effective, but lacks the refinement and precision of HEROic’s advanced protocols.

BBL HEROic™: Designed with a larger spot size (15x45mm) and a much higher repetition rate, HEROic can treat larger areas like the chest, back, arms, and legs in a fraction of the time—often just 2–5 minutes. This makes full-body rejuvenation much more efficient and realistic for even the busiest clients!

Traditional BBL: While still capable of achieving beautiful results, traditional BBL® treatments are typically slower, especially when addressing large surface areas like the back or legs. Multiple passes and longer treatment times are often required to achieve the same coverage.

Faster Sessions, Broader Coverage

Enhanced Experience for Sensitive Skin

BBL HEROic™: Thanks to integrated sapphire contact cooling and more intelligent energy calibration, HEROic offers a much more comfortable experience with minimal sensation. Most clients describe it as a gentle warmth or light snap—far less intense than older technologies!

Traditional BBL: While generally well-tolerated, classic BBL may cause a more noticeable warming or snapping sensation, especially in sensitive areas. Mild redness and swelling are common but typically subside within a few hours to a day.

Downtime & Recovery

BBL HEROic™: The HEROic system was engineered to minimize downtime, making it ideal for those who want to return to work, social events, or workouts the same day. Post-treatment redness is usually mild and short-lived, and makeup can be applied immediately following your procedure.

Traditional BBL: Downtime is also minimal, but patients may experience slightly more prolonged redness or swelling, especially after treating multiple areas or more intense pigmentation.

most clients find photofacials to be tolerable. however, we also offer the following pain management options:

numbing cream: a topical cream that consists of lidocaine, tetracaine and benzocaine. designed to dull sensation. lasts 1-2 hours after removal. included with all laser procedures.

PRONOX nitrous oxide: also known as "laughing gas". nitrous oxide is self-administered by holding a tube to your mouth to inhale the gas. The effects are typically felt within just a few breaths. while nitrous will not eliminate pain entirely, it will significantly dull the sensation of pain and  anxiety. nitrous oxide is available for $125.

to ensure the PRONOX MACHINE is available, please let us know ahead of time if you would like nitrous oxide.
